Improvement of the production capacity of "Milkotester" Ltd.

This project proposal is targeted to improve the production capacity of "Milkotester" Ltd. for the production of milkanalyzers by improving the production process and resource efficiency and effectiveness. This will be achieved through the purchase of Lathe-1pc., Cutting Laser-1pc. and SMT placement machine-1pc. With the purchase of new Cutting laser the company will optimize the raw materials used in the process of cutting the hull details of the milkanalyzers. That processes is currently performed by an external contractor in Sofia. The cutting process described above results in a number of drawbacks, especially related to delay in the production and ineffective cutting of raw materials, resulting in high cost of the products. The new SMT placement machine will increase by three times the capacity of the unit for production of circuit boards, which is a bottleneck in the overall production process due to the fact that the company currently has only one SMT placement machine, which is producing all circuit boards for each milkanalyzer manufactured by the company. The company does not have a lathe. The necessary turning operations are also performed by an external contractor that brings negatives regarding the implementation deadlines, the high cost of turning detail and tough quality control process. The purchase and commissioning of the above mentioned machines will allow the company to minimize the use of external services, while increasing capacity over twice and optimizes production time. The described positive results will enable the company to double its net revenues, to increase the efficiency of the production costs by over 16 percent, to improve productivity by over 16%, and revenue generated from exports by over 83% (compared with 2014).
