Improving production capacity in "Simonas Cards" Ltd.

The current project proposal is aimed at purchasing and installation of 15 units printers and specialized software and hardware. Improvement of the producing process in the final operations unit will be achieved with these printers; no more rented printers and external services will be used for personalization of cards which will reflect on the cost price of the cards; two-side printing will be available which will replace manual work and as a result the process of personalization will be much faster and relaible. The printers will be equipped with heads for printing magnetic stripe and chip reading and writing which will let printing and personalize all types of cards. The specialized software and hardware will be installed by setting-up of a new establishment. Increase of provided reservation services will be achieved with purchasing and installation of the new hardware and software. The new tangible and intangible long-term assets will lead to increase in the productivity with more than 18%, increase in the average generated export revenues as a result of the current investment with more than 25% due to the availability for acceptance of new orders from foreign clients as well as increase in the production costs efficiency with more than 14% due to efficiency improvement. The project is implemented both in the field of “ICT and Informatics” and in the field of "New technologies in creative and re-creative industries" from the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization.
