Improving the production capacity of "Astra Agro" Ltd. - Montana

“Astra Agro” Ltd. was founded in 2006 for design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural equipment. According to the company’s strategy for competitiveness and sustainability the management team will take a project initiative for replacement of actual manufacture equipment and investment activity in new industrial facilities. The project proposal is related with the current guidelines, thematic objective and priorities that ensure capacity growth of small and medium enterprises in Bulgaria. The aim of the project is to increase the production capacity and export potential through the renovation of existing production facilities. The execution of the project will be 12 months and during this period there will be introduced a new machinery and production systems with a high degree of electronic control. The facilities are dedicated to metalcraft and will lead to positive results regarding: - Increasing the production volume; - Increasing the production quality; - Diversification of the products; - Modernization of the production cycle; - Market expansion and increase and export opportunities; The investment will improve the quality of the future production and will ensure market extension on national and international level. Under the plan the investment will take a place in North-West region of Bulgaria – city of Montana and will provide economic development and sustainability for “Astra Agro” Ltd. as well as the region.
