Increasing the competitiveness of Vipom AD through technological modernization

The main activity of VIPOM AD is producing a wide range of centrifugal vortex and diagonal tube pumps. The main stages in the manufacture of pumps in VIPOM AD are: design and construction of pumps and technological equipment for their manufacture; production of casting; machining; assembly and testing of finished products. The main constraints to the development of the company are expressed mainly in the difficult access to significant financial resources for the timely implementation of increase in the production capacity in response to the dynamic market development in the field, and the increasing demand of the foreign customers. The objective of this project is to enhance the competitiveness of VIPOM AD through investment in modern high-productive technology leading to increase in the production capacity and improved efficiency. The objective will be achieved by activities targeted to improve the production process, improve the production process and improve the resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process. By carrying out these activities the company will achieve the following results: - Improved image of the company among its partners and customers; - Increased production capacity and effectiveness by reducing the production costs with decreasing the cost of materials; - Increased of sales volumes and in particular increased export revenues by increasing the production capacity; - Increased profits and profit margin from improved production; - Improving working conditions and environment protection.
