Improvement of the production capacity of AMET Ltd.

This project conducts the execution of the next (forth) phase of the long-term growth strategy of AMET Ltd. The strategy targets increase of competitiveness on the internal and international markets by means of upgrading the manufacturing capabilities and current equipment, decreasing the cost of major resources, optimizing the production processes and increasing the overall productivity of the employees. The current phase (2015-2016) is set to expand the manufacturing equipment of AMET Ltd with additional highly efficient machines. The phase plan is to be put into practice through the actions in the current project defined hereafter: 1. Action for introducing new technologies for improvements in the resource utilization and manufacturing efficiency (via delivery, installation and utilization of automatic pick-and-place machine, convection reflow oven, stereo inspection microscope and PCB cleaning/defluxing equipment) 2. Actions for broadening the variety of products by AMET Ltd. (via delivery, installation and utilization of extruder for up to 65 tons and extruder for up to 160 tons ) The anticipated result of the project is overall improved competitiveness of AMET Ltd. by means of optimized resource utilization, higher production efficiency, prerequisites for production diversification and growth of the sales potential on the international market. Specific results to be objectively observed include: - improved efficiency of the production process - reduced water consumption; - less cull and consequently lower expenses for raw materials - improved production capacity - increased labour productivity - new products on the market - power supply block and handle for orthopedic saw, seal for medical sterilizer - improved quality and export potential This project will be implemented for 9 months
