"NIKDIM" Ltd. is a Bulgarian manufacturer of electrical equipment for low and medium voltage, founded in 1991. Since its creation, it has developed steadily following the requirements of its customers and constantly-changing business environment as is recognized as a correct partner, socially oriented employer and founder of the Bulgarian electrical equipment for medium and low voltage. In the last 10 years the company implemented successful export within and outside the EU, as for few years, the export activities represent over 60% of the company turnover. The long term goal of "NIKDIM" Ltd. is to become an internationally accepted brand, which is a symbol of quality, safety and innovation. Through the project will be granted the long-term goal of the company to increase its production capacity, to develop its export potential and to achieve long-lasting and sustainable growth for the coming years. This will be achieved by covering the general and specific objectives of the project and the specific activities connected to them, which match perfectly with the objectives and priorities of the OP "Competitiveness and Innovation" 2014-2020 and strategies of the "Europe 2020". The Energy Sector, where the company operates, is very fast developing and during the last few years many of the current products of the company are obsolete and with reduced capacity for consumption. In order to continue its stable development on the competitive European and global market, the company must constantly implement new technologies and develop new products. The electrical and the railway companies all over the world, increase the use of composite insulators as an alternative to the porcelain and glass ones. In comparison to the latter, the composite insulators have several significant advantages such as lower weight, improved electrical properties, resistance to various types of radiation and more economical maintenance.
