Expansion of the production capacity of "PODEM GABROVO" Ltd through implementation of high effecient and precise equipment for cool metal treatment

The project will implement the main part of a bigger investment program for expansion of the capacity of "PODEM GABROVO" Ltd as a representative of the target group (SMEs). It is planned to be purchased and installed 2 precise and high-efficient machines - 1 CNC lathe and 1 CNC gear hobbing machine. These new machines will have unlocking impact and will enable to achieve the desired increase of the sales. The company will be able to build higher level of customer confidence in markets with stronger requirements for this type of production. The comapny will bridge over the need of use of high-skilled labour in routine operations. Project activities will contribute to: - Improving existing products by increasing the guaranteed geometric accuracy of reduction gear elements from current level of class 8 to class 4 after implementation in joint use of the both new machines; - Improved production processes through: 1) merging large numbers of operations and 2) shortening the time for transition; - Diversification of the product range by at least 2 units. new product (service by producing high quality mechanical components and production of a new type of hoist); - Improving resource efficiency per produced item by: 1) reducing energy consumption and 2) reduce the consumption of petroleum-derived oils. As a result of the implementation of those activities they will be achieved: - Improved quality of production (gear elements will be produced with much higher accuracy will ensure quiet and reliable operation of the reduction gear); - Improved production processes; - Increased assortment with the addition of at least 2 new products of similar type; - Achieving the indicators in item 8; - Increased sales income at least 10%; - Lower costs, greater flexibility in pricing, higher potential for added value; - Improved working environment.
