Improving the competitiveness of Rais Ltd by increasing production capacity and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the production process.

The implementation of this project is aimed at satisfying the critical needs of Rais Ltd in terms of improving the competitiveness of the company. The project will create opportunities to increase production capacity, to improve the export potential and to increase the resource efficiency and effectiveness. The firm is faced with the typical problems facing the development of SMEs in Bulgaria - higher production costs, obsolete technology, insufficient capacity and quality of production. Project activities include the improvement of production processes, adding new features and improving existing products and services, diversifying the range of products and services and implementation of new technologies for increasing resource efficiency and effectiveness. More specifically the project involves the delivery and implementation of the following machines and equipment: 1. Carousel lathe with CNS (1 piece). The project is estimated to cost 1 666 500 lev, of which 60% or 999 900 lev are grant financial aid, and 40% or 666 600 lev are Rais Ltd's own contribution. Projects's duration is 18 months.
