Improving the competitiveness of "Atra-96" Ltd through the implementation of new equipment that allows increasing of the production and export capacity and enhancing the resource effectiveness and efficiency

The execution of the current project helps for the realization of a main necessity for "Atra-96" Ltd regarding the improvement of the competitiveness of the company through creating possibilities for improving the production and export capacity and enhancing the resource effectiveness and efficiency. The enterprise is part of the target group of small and medium sized enterprises that face the typical development problems of the Bulgarian SMEs, including high production costs, obsolete equipment and technologies, insufficient production capacity and quality of the manufactured products. The project is in the eligible target group of the procedure as it consists of activities for implementation of new machinery for enhancement of the resource effectiveness and efficiency and is actually in the field of the proposed thematic areas of the Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization. The activities of the project include production improvement, adding new characteristics and bettering of existing products and services, establishing variety of the assortment of products and implementing of new equipment for the improvement of resource effectiveness and efficiency in the production. The expected results include improvement of the market presence and creation of export potential through the implemented machinery and equipment, achieved high productivity, diminished production costs, optimized production chains and increased added value. The actual execution of the project includes the purchase and implementation of the following machines and equipment: 1. Fiber eroisining machine - 1 piece 2. Flat-polishing machine - 1 piece 3. Volume erosining machine - 1 piece
