Improving the Production Capacity of ET "Kamen Kalchev"

The project proposal is aimed at receiving financial grant aid by ET "Kamen Kalchev" (manufacturer of excavator buckets) for investments in fixed assets (delivery, assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of machinery) related to the capacity expansion of 2 existing business sites of the company. The project aims at achieving the following two main objectives - Increase production capacity and Enhancement of export potential of the candidate. Target groups: The project is implemented in an existing business site - in Sofia (Southwestern Region) and in an existing business site in Montana (Northwestern Region), and it includes activities for introduction of new technologies for improvement of the resources effectiveness and efficiency in the production process. The project proposal includes the following activities: 1) Activities for improvement of production processes, 2) Activites for adding new features or for improvement of existing products or services and 3) Activities for introduction of new technologies for improvement of the resources effectiveness and efficiency in the production process. The expected results of the project are: improving the quality of existing products; increase the production capacity by more than 17% as a result of capacity expansions in the business sites in Sofia and Montana; increase in sales revenue by aproximately 30%; increase the market share of local, regional and national level; increase export and reaching 17% share of exports in revenue; reduce complaints to under 5 per year; reducing production waste by 15-20%; reducing the amount of waste by 30%; in the medium term to achieve an internal rate of return of the project 34,52%; increase productivity with 27,52%; increase in the average revenue generated by exports with 25,47% and increase the efficiency of production costs by 16,39%.
