"GLOBAL COMMUNICATION NET" AD (GCN) production capacity increase and export potential enhance

The project aims at expanding the capacity of existing commercial sites – the technical centers in Sofia, Montana, Pleven, Ruse, Balchik, Haskovo and Svilengrad, which allows increasing the amount of traffic flowing through these sites and network of GCN as a whole by increasing the speed from 10G to100G. The production capacity of "GLOBAL COMMUNICATION NET" AD is directly dependent on the bandwidth of its optical paths, which are over 3,200 kilometers and connect the main cities of Bulgaria with global telecommunication centers. The project will increase the production capacity of the company by introducing new equipment providing transit transport of data at 10G to transport of data at 100G on a single wavelength in optical fiber. In the project will be purchased minimum required, but a complete set of hardware and software components – racks and subracks, in which are placed the boards and devices, common units, providing work on the physical level in the technical centers, modules for integration/division of the Frequency and adjustment of dispersion, Transponder, optical modules and installation materials, software for monitoring and management of 100G channels, software for management of new devices in new and existing infrastructures separately and licenses for it. The main update is the line Sofia - Balchik, with changes in the boundary node will allow increasing the export potential of the company's services to Asia, which are currently being implemented on 10G transport line. Along this line components need to be installed in technical centers in Montana, Pleven and Rousse. Primary update will be made in the technical center in Svilengrad, which will allow the export of services to Turkey and Greece. Intermediate is necessary to add assets in the technical center in Haskovo. The result will be achieved through the implementation of the activity "Improvement of production processes."
