Increasing the capasity of ETA - Jeleva Ltd

ETA-JELEVA is a telecommunication company-provider of cable TV, digital TV, IPTV and Internet. The company is a licensed service provider for transmission of radio and television signals, data transfer and delivery of broadband internet in the municipalities of Northwestern Bulgaria. ETA has approximately 45% market share in the areas in which it operates. ETA offers its clients telemetry services. As results of ETA’s investments in optical networks through the years the company has increased the quality of the provided Internet services (increase the reliability and increase the speed of the network) significantly, has ensured its coverage and capacity (by reaching each client with personalized optical fiber), has reached the administration automatization (using simple technology and a small number of technical centers) and has reduced network troubles and maintenance costs (by decreasing the number of power supply active devices). With the present project, ETA aims to: 1) To expand the cable distribution networks in villages where the company has not any coverage: Glava, Gorni Dubnik, Gornik, Radomirtsi, Reselets, Ruptsi, Chomakovtsi and Toros, which shall increase the capacity of offered services. In addition this shall enlarge the broadband coverage for more clients in Northwestern Bulgaria. 2) To build-up Telemetry networks in Cherven bryag city and Koynare village, which shall increase the representativeness of the sample for the region and shall enable the realization of the service to more customers. 3) To purchase specialized software (which shall be installed in office in Cherven bryag city), enebling the company to offer Telemetry services in the EU, which shall enhance the export potential of the company. The main activities envisaged under the current project are, as follows: 1. Activity to improve production processes; 2. Activity of introduction of new technologies to improve resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process.
