Increasing the capasity of services of PETKOM 2002 Ltd

"PETKOM 2002" Ltd is a telecommunication company established in 2002, which provides cable TV, digital TV and Internet. Initially, the company began providing Cable TV in Byala Slatina city and Popitsa village. Recently the company coverages the Byala Slatina city, and following villages: Borovan, Tarnava, Tyrnak, Popitsa, Altimir and Malorad. This determines the market competitive position of the company, as it holds approximately 43% market share in the region, with 5100 clients for providing TV and Internet services. With the present project, "PETKOM 2002" aims to invest in the following: 1) Installation of Internet cable distribution networks in some cities, in which it still has not have any coverage, as follows: Oryahovo, Selanovtsi, Brenitsa, Karlukovo. Thus shall expand the company’s services capacity and shall enhance Internet broadband access coverage to more clients (individuals, households, etc.) in Northwestern Bulgaria. 2) Expanding the existing Cable TV distribution network in some areas of Byala Slatina, where the company has no coverage. 3) Purchase of specialized software for ensuring Telemetry service (technical ability to collect and analyze telemetry data) for EU operators which shall help company to increase its export potential. The software shall be installed on the existing equipment in company's office in Byala Slatina. The main activities to increase the capacity of services envisaged under current project are, as follows: 1. Activity to improve production processes; 2. Activity of introduction of new technologies to improve resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process.
