"Improving production capacity in "Skynix" Ltd."

The main activity of "Skynix" is the development of online multimedia solutions and services for video sharing, streaming video and video on demand. Our solutions allow our customers to upload multimedia files or streams on our servers and accordingly provide that content to their customers. The project activities envisage the development of online P2P (peer-to-peer) multimedia platform for streaming video and video on demand. The platform is distributed network architecture of peers who devote part of their resources (processing power, disk space, network connection width) directly available to other network participants, without the need for a central network instance. Participants are both suppliers and consumers of resources, unlike traditional and used so far in the enterprise client-server model, where servers supply, and clients consume. By dropping need for media server, the new architecture will allow us to reduce or not to remove the cost of disk space and high-speed symmetrical Internet connection. The architecture will solve the problem of the geographical location, each client will connect to those closest to him other customers. The increase in customers does not require investing in new resources (servers, internet and disk space) as additional units will be self-powered clients and more clients are more eliminating the need for additional resources. With the construction of the new platform, "Skynix" will overcome the main issues that define the high cost of services and lead to it to offer its services mainly to corporate customers. Moving to P2P platform will allow us to be very competitive in the market of media services and will allow us to offer our solutions to small businesses and individuals, as well as to increase the current base of corporate clients.
