Investments for increasing the capacity of Digital Cable Television Ltd.

Through the implementation of the current project Digital Cable Television Ltd. intends to purchase new equipment and software with the aim of increasing the production capacity and creating export potential of the company. As a long-term result, the overall competitiveness of the enterprise will be increased. The main activities to be implemented under this project are: • Improving the production process – technological innovations and work improvements that concern the services provided by the company; • Improving the existing services of the company – increase in the quality, reliability and security of the telecommunication network; • increasing the variety of products and services of the company – introduction of IPTV as a new service; • improving the effective and efficient use of resources – saving of resources, sustainable development in the long term. The above listed activities will be implemented through the purchase and installation of the following equipment and software: • Equipment for PON (Passive Optical Network) – 1; • Equipment for IPTV platform – 1; • Streaming server – 1; • Software for visualization of TV programmes – 1; As a result of the project implementation the capacity of the company will be increased, the current processes and services will be improved, the use of resources in Digital Cable Television Ltd. will be optimised. Furthermore, the variety of the services provided will be increased with the introduction of IPTV (Internet Protocol TeleVision), including for mobile devices, as an option for all current and future clients, which will make our services even more competitive to those of the big telecom operators. This will give us a great advantage on the Bulgarian market, as well as the technological means to enter foreign markets.
