Improving the competitiveness and increasing the capacity of „SoftGroup” AD for design and implementation of smart software solutions.

SoftGroup AD is an innovative Bulgarian IT company, founded in 2003 and specialized in the design, development, implementation and customization of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. SoftGroup offers smart software solutions to customers operating in terms of food, grain and pharmaceutical industries – the company’s product portfolio includes predominantly the design and implementation of manufacturing execution systems - MES, laboratory execution systems - LES, laboratory information management systems – LIMS and serialization and Trackamp;Trace systems. The implementation of this project aims at the achievement of the basic goal of the company in the short term – increasing the enterprise capacity for design, development, implementation and customization of software products through an investment in a new server system, a disc storage and a switch which will provide the necessary technological equipment for the development of a new platform for the design of customers’ applications, simulation of real clients environment and provision of “cloud” services. To achieve this goal the following activities will be implemented under the project: activities for improving the process of design, development, implementation and customization of software products and provision of cloud services as well as activities for introducing new technologies for improving the resource effectiveness and efficiency of the production. These activities will provide for the increase of the production capacity of the enterprise in terms of the design and implementation of smart software solutions and provision of “cloud” services, increasing the number of customers, improving the company’s productivity with 33,84%, as well as the share of revenues from export generated from services delivered to foreign customers up to 67,28% as a direct effect from the investments under the project.
