Improving the Production Capacity of Abrites Ltd.

The project proposal focuses on production capacity improvement and production expansion of a company specialized in diagnostic software and hardware equipment development for electronic components integrated into cars and other vehicles. The products of the company are mainly sold to foreign markets. The project envisages improvement of the production process and the effectiveness and efficiency of resources in the production of hardware components, implemented in the company's production facility in the city of Varna. The company plans to put into operation a Production System for injection molds for hardware components production, which are currently being reassigned to external companies. This situation leads to multiple problems and drawbacks in the production process. The project implementation will lead to the following effects: 1. Improved production process through: 1.1. More precise components production and elimination of inaccuracy and flaws in the injection molds, which are connected to high additional expenses 1.2. Faster production process, which is the main competitive advantage and development factor on the automotive market 2. Improved resources efficiency in the production through: 2.1. Introduction of technology for reduction of energy losses in the process 2.2. Reduced amount of scrap 3. Increased production capacity by 35 % The production process improvement and the increased capacity for hardware production will increase the production of software products as well, without direct investment in this production department. This effect arises from the specific character of the end product: the both components (software and hardware) cannot be used separately.
