Improving the production capacity and promote the export potential of SOFTPRESS Ltd.

The main objective of the project is to promote competitive and sustainable development of the company having in mind the dynamic entering of information technology in the field of book publishing, which is undergoing a radical transformation in the context of new technologies, internet and digitization. The company has identified the need to offer its customers innovative products with added value which will differentiate it from the competition and will enable it to strengthen its market presence not only at national but also at European and global level. The overall objective of the project, which will be realized through the implementation of the planned specific objectives is to expand the production capacity of SOFTPRESS and to promote the export potential of the enterprise of publishing electronic books and dictionaries through investments in new assets with a view to greater competitiveness on domestic and external markets. To achieve these objectives, the project includes implementation of activities to add new features to or improve the existing products and services and to introduce new technologies to improve resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process. Within the project will be purchased and implemented: - 4 specialized softwares in order to develop new functionalities in addition to the current product - electronic books and electronic SoftPress Oxford English-Bulgarian dictionary for mobile platforms iOS and Android and - 1 software for virtualization of the servers in order to reduce power consumption. As a result of the project SOFTPRESS will be able to expand its production direction for electronic products and strengthen the market position of the offered by the company e-books and mobile dictionaries. In addition, through the project the possibility of increasing the export potential of the enterprise will be created.
