Encouraging the Competitiveness of "Cooolbox" SA via New Technology Integration leading to Capacity Increase, Production Optimisation and Improvement of Services

“Cooolbox” SA (with the old name “ITD Network” SA) – one of the first and biggest Internet providers in the country with over 18 years of experience in the development and launch of integrated telecom solutions. The current project investment will lead to a significant improvement in the existing portfolio of services, responding to the latest requirements for high-speed, reliable and secure access to the newest advanced functionalities like: - access to interactive applications (video surveillance, systems type "Smart home" , etc. ) - data protection, sharing and all other sophisticated functionalities of the newest cloud applications for households - symmetric connectivity for a guaranteed seamless sharing of large files and high-speed cloud services - uninterrupted Internet access while using OTT content. - increase in the maximum possible number of end devices behind a single type of service ( TV receivers, video surveillance equipment, etc. ) without affecting the quality of Internet access - access to Ultra High Definition Video Content (4k / 2160p and 8k / 4320p) - high-speed virtual private networks will be able to be built for the end users These functionalities require specific internet access, which cannot be ensured by means of the currently available technological resources. The upgrades necessary to be made will be ensured by the integration of advanced high tech equipment. The technology represents four Synchronized Multicomponent Bundles (SMB) allowing access of minimum 3 000 end users to a significantly improved telecom service with full symmetric connectivity at a speed of one Gigabit per second. The investment in the new technology will also lead to an automation of the existing business and production processes as well as to a major improvement in the resource effectiveness, adding value to the end users.
