Improving the Production Capacity of Zographic films Ltd.

The project’s proposition is focused on improving the production processes, strengthen the “Zographic films” Ltd. export potential, optimizing the production fees and increase the diversity of the offered products assortment and the rendering services. It is obliged for the purposes of the project plan to explicit the term “rendering”. “Rendering” or “To render” is a process of calculation and generating numerical image (visualization) of the computer’s graphic model. The word “model” signifies the description of all kind of objects and phenomena presented in a particular mathematical language. Such a description could include geometrical data, the observer’s point of view, lighting information, physical data, fluid interaction, etc. In the line graph of the production this is the last important step, which provides the final image of the animation models, the architecture, video games and simulations, for movie and television special effects. As a final software product it is offered in a wide range of “render engines” – programs for visualization. The Rendering is an extensive process, for which is needed a great amount of a high-producing hardware and special software. Their realization is the topic of the project proposition, namely: 1. Render Cluster 2. Render Server 3. Render Workstation 4. Communication Equipment and UPS 5. Server Rack, Server Rack Accessories, Server Rack Cooling The blend of the planned for supply products represents the long term assets and short term assets compilation and is finished Render Farm- high-productive computer system, similar to a computer cluster, intended for rendering a computer generated images. With the global increasing quality inquiries for visual products the necessity for render services and render farms raises.
