Inovations and competitiveness

With the development of the information technologies in Bulgaria and in the world, the middle-sized enterprise TRAKIA CABLE OOD is needed to have the capacity to provide sufficient quantity of services and to be in line with the development of the dynamic market. The project aims to increase the capacity of the company and strengthen its export potential in response to the needs of the global market. Through the project the Company will meet the actual demand of the market and will implement activities to improve its processes by increasing its capacity to provide services (1), will introduce a new range of products (2) will improve the quality of existing services ( 3) will implement ICTs with improved resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process (4). The project is in the category of "capacity expansion of an existing business entity" and has a term of 12 months. The project will implement its activities through the purchase and commissioning of the Multiscreen transcoding system (1), Blade server system (2), Storage Array (3), Media Server Software and a Diesel generator (5). The estimated value of the project is 855,500 lev, 60% grant. The results of the project are increasment two times the capacity to provide TV, introducing a new range of products - interactive TV, the quality of the traditional products will be improved, there will be improvment in resource effectiveness and efficiency of the production process. The made detailed and realistic business plan proves the economic efficiency of the project. The project is in th field of ISIS, realized in Bulgaria in the south-east region, Stara Zagora and will contribute to achieving sustainable development and equality and non-discrimination prinsiples. The company so far has no participation in procedures OPDCBE, has the experience, financial stability and motivation to realize the project.
