"Development of the Management Capacity and Growth for "Glas Design" Ltd."

Glas Design intends that the project improves its competitiveness through a combination of activities directed toward development and strengthening of its management and production capacity which include: - Introduction and certification of an Integrated Quality and Environment Management System against the requirements of the both standards BDS EN ISO 9001 and BDS EN ISO 14001; - Design and introduction of an ICT based software application to manage business processes; - Introducing to the market a product covering the requirements of specific BG and international standard BDS EN ISO 12543:2011 (Glass in building; Laminated glass and laminated safety glass) through investment for purchase of "Electric furnace for vacuum glass laminating", conformity assessment of laminated glass against the requirements of the standard, followed by affixing CE-marking to the product. The combination of activities envisaged by the project reflects the enlargement of the company's production, the customers' requirements and its fulfilment as a guarantee for market success. The various implementations of glassing and manufactured glasses are increasing, their variety is becoming larger and larger and these facts move the company toward maximum adaptation to the markets, thus pushing it to diversify the products' range. The execution of the project activities shall improve the company's management processes as planning and decision making, communication with customers, but also production connected processes like resources organization, manufacturing and product realization. The Integrated Quality and Environment Management system conforming with BDS EN ISO 9001; BDS EN ISO 14001, the conformity assessment of laminated glass against requirements for crash- and bulletproof worthiness, CE - mark - all of these will allow Glas Design to expand its market potential and niche while delivers to products complying with standards, respecting the environment and protecting it
