„Building capacity for the growth of Balkanpack Ltd., through implementation of ICT-based systems for management of business processes in the enterprise“

The present project proposal aims the stimulation the growth of Balkanpack by promoting the use of information and communication technologies and services through the following activities: 1. Activities to promote the use of information and communication technologies and services by developing and implementation of ERP system. 2. Activities to promote the use of information and communication technologies and services by developing and implementation of MOM system. The main instruments through which the activities will be implemented are: development and implementation of specialized software for recourse management in Balkanpack; development and implementation of a System for operational production management. Implementation of the activities will solve the company’s problems in the processes: planning and decision making; resource organization; organization of the production process, Product realization, product internationalization. The new systems will introduce in the company entirely new organizational method in the trade practice, in the organization of the work places and the external relations.The managing process will be unified and the decision making will be a lot easier because of the new opportunities to analyze the aftermath and to achieve the best business practice.The main undertaking of the new ICT systems is to integrate and manage the information flows in the company. This will lead to cost optimization by saving time and improving control in Balkanpack. A very important aspect of the realization of this project is the implementation of a special module for waste management, which will provide higher resource efficiency by reducing the wastage amount and respectively reduce the waste generated by the production process. That’s how it will contribute to the achieving of the main goal of the company’s strategy, related to the sustainable development and environmental protection.
