Development of management capacity and growth of "Security Smart Systems" Ltd. through introduction of ERP system for management and resource planning in the enterprise

"Security Smart Systems" OOD is a company with more than 15 years experience in development and manufacturing of electronic and electro-mechanical products exported to Britain, the Netherlands, Austria - alarm stations, cash registers, fire sensors, electronics for doors, etc. Major challenge for the candidate is bringing business process management and resource planning on the level which corresponds to the steadily increasing scale of operations. Lack of assistive ICT tools for management and planning leads to lower than potential output, suboptimal production process and cost price, limited opportunities for traceability of the entire production cycle and making effective and timely management decisions. The latter could lead to an adverse effect on the competitiveness of the company on the Bulgarian and European market with continued growth and in the long term - to stopping the growth. The main objective of the project is to achieve qualitative growth of the candidate by promoting the use of information and communication technologies and services. In response to the above challenges, the project includes purchase and implementation of an ERP system for management and resource planning and new hardware equipment required for its operation. The introduction of ICT based system for the management and organization of resources, production activity and core business processes will lead to optimization in production, reduced time for execution, increased productivity in the enterprise, better control over production costs, more efficient and timely business decisions based on accurate and reliable information in real time. Through investment in the project: - the management and organization of the main processes in the enterprise's operations will be improved - organizational innovations will be introduced - the company's profitability and its market positions in the Bulgarian and export market will be improved
