Development of managerial capacities at DAPHNE LTD, City of Varna

For already 25 years now 'DAPHNE' LTD, city of Varna, is one of the leading companies in the production of elegant ladies' wear. The brand has established its image, distinguished European quality and creative design. The market success of the company is supported by a team of experts, as well as modern production technologies and uncompromising quality. All materials, used in the manufacture of the Company's models are consistent with the fashion trends, the tendencies of aesthetics and the criteria for quality, durability of the product and the comfort of the garment. This project is expected to introduce a software management system for enterprise resources /ERP/ in order to optimize the production processes and improve the managerial capacities of the Company. The system will streamline the administrative processes and the processes, related to the marketing of the finished products, will improve the organization of production cycles and increase the efficiency of individual units. The ERP-system shall comprise the following modules: Sales, Production, Business Analysis and Management of waste. The new ERP-system shall be entirely integrated with the Company's existing on-line store to improve information security for the stocks in the individual warehouses and improve the work of the unit, responsible for the distribution. The implementation of software shall enhance the processes of: management of inventories and stocks; tracking of goods from the arrival of materials at the garment factories to the retail stores; labelling of goods, materials and elements, involved in the manufacturing process; price-formation; policy management for loyal customers; productivity of each employee; transfer of the goods along the axis of warehouses-stores-customers; waste management. Following the improvement of the management capacity and organization of work, the share of exports in the Company's production is expected to increase substantially.
