High company managing technologies – a prerequisite for success

MPLAST LTD- town of Plovdiv is one of the leaders on the market in the manufacture of plastic pipes and fittings intended for construction of plumbing and sewerage, as well as heating systems. As a manufacturer the company manages to establish itself on the Bulgarian market and to gain stable positions thanks to the high quality of the products, wide range and competitive prices. Having been on the market for 10 years, the brand successfully established itself as a quality standard and is easily recognizable and preferred by the Bulgarian consumers. The wide range of pipes and fittings, short time for delivery, high quality and attractive prices offered by the company, facilitate its quick recognition on the Bulgarian market. As a result MPLAST LTD works with more and more partners and as of the moment it has established itself as one of the leaders on the market with its well built and maintained distribution network covering the whole country. The existing process management system is semi- professional and not fully integrated, it doesn’t include all aspects, it isn’t fully automated. What is missing are statistical data for making concrete managerial decisions regarding customers, on- time deliveries, necessary time planning actions and correction plans. Financial module for expense analysis is missing, as well as importance of different categories in cost price. The existing system doesn’t allow central data storage for everybody. Planning is done on the basis of statistical data; there is no possibility for synchronizing the planned activities in real time which could lead to automatic planning in relation to the given moment. The company is in great need of introduction of a professional ERP system which will increase the management capacity of the company and provide fast development. The present project makes provisions for delivery and introduction of modern ERP system and the necessary hardware in order to achieve these goals.
