Improvement of management processes and organizational innovations in Borola Ltd

Borola’s overall vision is predicated on supporting a healthy way of living and instilling a health culture in the modern consumer. For almost 20 years, since its inception in 1996, we have been fully committed to the firm’s vision, turning Borola into the only company in Bulgaria, which not only produces food supplements and cosmetics but also has incorporated its products into a holistic health program targeted at the prevention and management of various conditions. All of Borola’s products are developed by the firm’s R and D team. However, with our growth, as demand started to outpace our capacity to invest in production equipment, we were forced to outsource some of the production activities to independent contract manufacturers. This limited our production capacity, increased our production cost and impeded our ability to maintain continuous and thorough quality control. To tackle these challenges, we invested in new production equipment which allowed us to close the production cycle for most of our products and reliance on external parties. To continue our growth and improve our market positions it is vital that we considerably improve our management capacity by implementing CRM and ERP systems, as well as by certifying a system for quality management that is fully compliant with ISO9001. This will improve our organization internally, allow us to better plan our production resources and analyze important productivity and performance metrics, thus optimizing our manufacturing and commercial activities. Optimizing our activities will allow us to better respond to market demands by the timely production and introduction of new products. Obtaining the standard for quality management certification and purchasing the above mentioned systems and equipment will increase our export capacity as these are often a necessary requirement for most of our export partners.
