Ever increasing demands for energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions as well as carbon footprint of buildings lead to rapid development and innovation in the field of ventilation and air conditioning. The facilities with heat exchangers for energy recovery and based on them air handling units are key components in this development. This project is strategic for the company Tangra-AV and is aimed at developing and strengthening its management capacity through the implementation of the following activities: introduction and certification of EMS according to EN ISO 14001:2015; achieving Voluntary Eurovent Certification of conformity of the main products produced by Tangra-AV according to the requirements and standards of European and international standards in the field of ventilation and air conditioning equipment; and investments in specialized software applications to achieve conformity of products. Within the 18-month project duration the company should acquire EMS certificate accr. to EN ISO 14001:2015, 2 certificates of Eurovent product compliance, and Eurovent labeling. The following are expected as results of the project: improvement of 5 management and organization processes and introduction of 4 organizational innovations in the company. On this basis, the expected overall effect for the company will be increased productivity and volume of product exports, respectively improvement of the capacity and competitive advantages of Tangra-AV for expansion and successful presence on dynamic and highly competitive foreign markets. The project is in line with the horizontal EU policies and includes a set of measures for publicity and visualization.
