Development of managerial capacity at 'BALKANTEL' LTD, city of Sofia

Balkantel Ltd. is an Engineering Company, established in 1990 and specialized in the manufacture of telecommunication equipment and railway systems for signalling and control of train movement. Thanks to its qualified team, the Company has reached the highest level of standards for the execution of assigned projects. Balkantel LTD maintains the Integrated Quality Control System, in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, ISO/IEC 27001:2013, OHSAS 18001:2007, initial Company certification of 2002. The Company has also been certified in accordance with the requirements of the Union publication of NATO - AQAP 2110. The present project shall cover two of the deficits in the work of the Company, as follows: - No available mechanism for the effective management of the Company's activity, including commitment of all branches in the manufacturing process; - No certificate, provisioning for the achieved high quality of IT-services, provided in combination with produced telecommunication equipment and signalling systems - an integral part of the Company's end product. In order to provide for these deficits within the project, Balkantel LTD shall provide for the implementation of the following measures: - Implementation of business activities for the development and strengthening of the Company's managerial capacity, including the introduction and certification of a management system in compliance with the standard ISO 20000-1 "Information technologies. Management of services“; - Implementation of business activities to promote the use of information and communication technologies and services: Introduction of the ERP-system for complex business management. The system shall present an organizational innovation for the Company. It will include a CRM-module to manage customer relationships, as well as the "Waste management" module that will reinforce Balkantel's positive attitude to environment.
