Developing the management capacity of Remoterm Ltd.

Remoterm Ltd. was established in 1999 with operation in the sector of repair works of worn-out parts from different industry spheres. The enterprise is the Bulgarian partner of Castolin-Austria – a globally leading organization developing its own know-how, materials and technologies for repair works. Due to its cooperation with Castolin, Remoterm has established itself as a national leader in this business sphere in Bulgaria. The company has long standing and stable business relationships with consumers that rang among the best in the country’s energy, cement and glass industries, as well as in metallurgy and construction. From 2014 on, Remoterm is a subcontractor of austrian firm Castolin. The successful implementation of these projects gives the company’s management team the confidence to bid for the role of a contractor of sites on the European market. This would require an EN ISO 3834-2:2006 and EN ISO 14001:2015 certification of the company’s operation which will serve as a guarantee for the contract entities abroad of the quality of the offered goods and services. Studies conducted by Remoterm show a clear potential on the market of steel structural components both in Bulgaria and abroad, from which they plan to benefit by developing its operation in this area. A pre-requisite for this is the development and certification of a manufacturing execution system which will guarantee compliance with EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2012 requirements. In order to maintain its leading market position in the country and to expand its operation on the European market successfully, Remoterm needs an optimization of the resource and core business processes management that it plans to achieve by introducing and implementing an ERP system. Aiming to finance the adoption and certification of these standards and the development and deployment of an ERP system, Remoterm is applying under scheme BG16RFOP002-2.002.
