Management capacity development of "Vazhod manufacturing" Ltd.

The company "Vzahod Manufacturing" Ltd. produces a wide range of clothes - classic and sports men, women and children skirts and trousers. The company sews mainly to order with materials from the client. The production capacity is 300 000 to 400 000 garments per year, and among its many clients are companies such as: CERRUTI, TIMBERLAND, PRADA, AVIREX, MONKLER and BENETTON, while constantly new companies express interest to enter into contracts for CMT production. In this regard, given its rich product portfolio and growing diversification of customers, the company identified the need to organize a more efficient production by maximum utilization of materials, proper staff management, managing cash flow and logistics of the finished products. The volume with which the company works often lead to the fragmentation of information, chaotic production process, especially in the execution of several orders simultaneously, which leads to wrong managerial decisions, loss of customers, poor flexibility in the orders execution and delays. This puts the company in the need to create a united, using a common database software system that covers all business processes - planning, budgeting and control in production, sales, resources, accounting and customer relationship. The development plans "Vazhod Manufacturing" Ltd. include maintaining the leadership positions on the national and international markets and entering new foreign markets, by providing high quality and competitive prices and product range diversification, depending on the market requirements. In this regard, there is a need for the company to introduce and certify management systems: ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, which will lead to built highly effective innovative internal company organization, secured market advantages for improving the internationalization of its production.
