Contemporary management approach in Mihalkovo AD

Mihalkovo AD extracts and bottles naturally carbonated mineral water from the spring in the village of Mihalkovo,located in Possestra locality in the Valley of Vacha River (Devin Municipality) that was first found in 1936, as a mountain water stream, with distinctive taste and flavor of springing water. Back in the autumn of 1956, the first bottle of Mihalkovo water was manually filled in a small wooden shack. The new plant has been opened in 1970 and in 1990 the company was registered as a producer cooperative-20 years later Mihalkovo AD-the joint stock company with 100% private capital,has been established. Annually it bottles and sells about 7 mills.liters of water or about 15 mills. packages as sustainable trend is toward growth of the volumes, which in turn determines the need to develop management capacity in the the field of optimization of business processes and use of advanced ICT solutions for achieving higher efficiency in the work. Investments intended for implementation under this project are addressed namely to develop the management capacity of the company by introducing contemporary solutions that contribute to achieving higher efficiency and effectiveness,and overall optimization of the production process in Mihalkovo AD. To achieve these objectives,the project includes activities of introducing and certification of BNS EN ISO 9001:2015,use of specialized consulting services for reengineering of process in Mihalkovo AD,development and implementation of an ERP system and investments in new equipment necessary for implementation and operation of the ERP system. Through the implementation of planned activities that will be assigned in compliance with the requirements flowing from CMD 160/07.01.2016,and the ZUSESIF,the company will accomplish its objective of increasing competitiveness and export potential, as well as providing objective guarantee for Product Quality,services and processes in compliance with the requirements for environment protection.
