Development and internationalization of Cluster Hoisting Devices

Cluster “Hoisting Devices” was established in 2016 under the initiative of Branch Chamber of Producers and Traders of Hoists and Cranes as part of the Chamber’s annual program implementation for the same year. The Cluster’s major duty is to solve the common problems for the “Production of hoisting equipment” industry: lack of qualified personnel, lack of innovation and limited export potential by bringing together companies, science organizations, universities and associations that carry out business activities or support enterprises in the branch. The main objective of the current project proposal is to increase the competitiveness and promote export potential of producers and traders of hoisting equipment in Central North Region of Bulgaria. This will be achieved through the creation, development and provision of a qualified team, workspace and equipment to the administrative body of Cluster “Hoisting Devices” and through encouraging Cluster’s marketing, participation and organization of national and international events and attracting partners and new members. The main target groups of Cluster “Hoisting Devices” are manufacturers of hoisting equipment, as well as all companies, scientific organizations, universities and associations that carry out business activities or support enterprises in the industry. The implementation of this project is expected to build up administrative body of Cluster “Hoisting Devices”, as well as to establish its sustainable market presence on the national and the international market.
