Badex Ltd is a Bulgarian company that mainly produces jackets for the domestic market. The development of Badex as a competitive enterprise, as well as the expansion of market positions in domestic and foreign markets and ensuring growth sustainability in a highly competitive business environment, necessitates the following: 1. Continuous improvement of the production process in order to achieve higher productivity, 2. Investments in new and high-tech equipment in order to automate and optimize the production processes and to reduce the production costs, and 3. Improve, maintain and guarantee the quality of the production in order to increase the competitiveness. The lack of automated machines at the various stages of an enterprise's production process is a serious obstacle to its sustainable development and significantly limits the company's growth potential. The current project proposal has the task of meeting these constraints with the aim to improve the production capacity of BADEX Lt. by investing in modern technological equipment and to enable the company to enter the foreign markets. The project will be implemented through the following complex of activities eligible under the present procedure: 1. Activity for improvement of the production capacity - purchase and maintenance of 9 machines of 3 different types; 2. Activity for reengineering of the business processes in the enterprise. As a result of these activities we are expected to achieve the following outcomes: - Increasing in productivity by an average of 12.5% compared to 2017; - Raising the efficiency of production costs by 4.4% on average by 2017; - Change in average export earnings resulting from the project investments by 6.5% compared to 2017. The project duration will be 13 months. The total value of the investment is 301,624.00 BGN and the grant is 271,461.60 BGN.
