Modernization of the production process in "Maikromet" Ltd., by purchasing an electromagnetic galvanized line

Maikromet Ltd. was founded in 1999. The main activity of the company is trade in metals and metal products, the main accent being placed on their surface treatment - polishing, plasticizing and mainly galvanic protective coatings. The company has an equipped production and warehouse base, located in the industrial zone of the town of Belene. The main challenges facing the company are the increasing market demands requiring a variety of specific metal parts with galvanic coating. With a view to achieving its long-term strategy, namely to significantly expand the production capacities to offer production in line with best manufacturing practices in the European Union, management has decided to avail itself of the opportunity to apply for a project under a procedure Project Selection BGRFOP002-2.022 "Improvement of Production Facilities in SMEs on the territory of the LPG Belene-Nikopol", where the purchase of an electrochemical galvanic line for electrochemical galvanization is planned. The necessity of this investment is dictated by the desire to expand the nomenclature of the offered coatings by covering the quality indicators meeting the European standards. The total value of the project amounts to BGN 121950, Of which BGN 109755 - grant. The applicant declares that he / she has his own funds needed for co-financing. As a result, the project is expected to achieve compliance with European standards for ecology and a friendly attitude towards nature; expanding the enterprise by offering its own production, competitive in quality and price to local and foreign producers in the same industry; increasing the volume of production; improving the quality of products offered; market share increase; increasing exports; creating better working conditions; increase in sales revenue. 4 new jobs will be created.
