Start up of a modern textile manufacturing operation by "Textile Brand" Ltd.

Textile Brand Ltd is a start-up enterprise established by Ivanka Bakayova in December 2017 to develop production of household textiles (household linen, embroidered household linen, etc.) and home textiles (cotton and wool blankets). To implement its plans, the company plans to carry out the following activities under the project: 1) Market implementation of the entrepreneurial idea of start-up and development of a textile manufacturing operation, by purchasing new production equipment (loom and automatic embroidery machine) and production materials (cotton and acrylic yarn) and hiring the necessary qualified personnel of 3 people, incl. a person with permanent disabilities. 2) Project visualisation. The Company envisages to ensure sustainable employment for the 3 persons hired by the project for at least 6 months after the end of the project. The implementation of the project will enable the entrepreneur Ivanka Bakayova to start and successfully develop her own manufacturing business in one of the priority sectors for the creation of new enterprises according to NSESMEs 2014-2020. The university education and the long-term professional experience of the entrepreneur in the textile business combined with the envisaged purchase of modern production equipment and the recruitment of highly qualified manufacturing staff will ensure the successful launch and development of the planned business, providing a strong guarantee for growth in sales revenue and profitability of the operation, thus ensuring the sustainability of the entrepreneurial venture in the long run. Apart from the above-mentioned basic economic result, the project activities will also have an accompanying environmental and social effects stemming from the specifics of the production process and the characteristics of the projected production and from the envisaged hiring of a person with permanent disabilities and ensuring the sustainable employment of the persons hired under the project.
