Promoting entrepreneurship through market implementation of a service for development of transport models through application of statistical approaches and analysis of data from a network of taxis for planning of the public transport sector and investments in the urban environment

„Transtechnologica” Ltd is a start-up registered in 2017 with subject of company activity researchamp;development in the field of technical sciences. The entrepreneurial idea of the company which is the subject pf the project is an Ramp;D service for developing transport models through application of statistical approaches and analysis of data from a network of taxis through external connectivity to a taxi network. The service has Ramp;D value and will contribute to achieving more optimized planning of the public transport sector and of the investments in the urban environment. The service’s main clients will be the private sector which provides transport services, the public sector and universities offering transport specialties. The conclusion made based on a detailed examination of Bulgaria’s transport network and its comparison with networks on a global scale is that the sole use of traditional methods such as road plans in the development of transport models is insufficient for achieving efficiency of the transport network. Therefore, the company’s concept is based on using advanced technologies that allow the generation of big data with the aim of applying a novel approach in the development of transport models for the public transport sector. In order to develop the service, the company will carry out activities towards the market implementation of the entrepreneurial idea on the market, by investing in: +the purchasing of a server configuration with 3 server components for data storage and processing will ensure the speed of collecting information from vehicles in real time, as well as precise processing of the data volume. +hiring qualified staff – 3 persons, for: developing and testing of application programming interface (API) with which the connection of multiple vehicles will be made possible through providing instructions and directions that structure data in a way so as to meet the business process in the development of transport models.
