Development of a new micro enterprise for the production of a new product, “Lafayette” for the automated reception of orders in the catering facilities, produced and functioning in a smart environment

In recent years, information and communication technologies have greatly facilitated and improved the speed and quality of catering services, a variety of specialized business process management systems, electronic devices used by the various departments in the establishment have been introduced. However, frequent problems and challenges in catering establishments remain with service delays. In the context of the increased pace of introduction of new technologies in the field, many mass caterers have introduced partial automation related to the review / choice of desirable food and beverages, but they are generally characterized by the dealing with limited elements of the business process – alternative solutions are most often limited to digitized menus in electronic form, and an order is made by following a system of steps. Target groups include: Traders working in the field of catering in benefit of clients of public catering establishments; Social catering services supplying people with disabilities. The objectives of the project are: Providing support to Lafayette 2018 Ltd. for the market realization of an entrepreneurial idea – a new product, an innovative “Lafayette” system for the automated reception of orders in the facilities, produced and functioning in a smart environment connected to an detector device, produced and functioning in a smart system fitting the concept of smart homes and smart cities and achieving a sustainable effect with regard to the newly created Lafayette 2018 Ltd. by creating and achieving stability and jobs stability and achieving growth. The envisaged activities cover activities for realization on the market of the entrepreneurial idea and project visualization activity. The expected result is the realization on the market of a new product “Lafayette,” which fully meets the needs of the target groups.
