Production of optical network units (ONU) and TV signal cable systems with application in the construction of passive optical networks (PON) by PON Systems Ltd.

PON Systems Ltd. is a start-up company, established by Aneta Nikolova in October 2017 to develop own production of optical network units (ONU) and TV signal cable systems with application in the construction of optical passive networks (PON). In order to implement its plans, the company envisages to carry out the following activities under the project: 1) Market implementation of the entrepreneurial idea to start-up own production of optical network units and TV signal cable systems, by purchasing production equipment, renting a working premise, website development and employment of qualified staff of 4 people, including a person with permanent disabilities. 2) Project visualization The company envisages to ensure sustainable employment for the 3 persons hired under the project for at least 6 months after the end of the project. The implementation of the project will enable the entrepreneur A.Nikolova to start and successfully develop her own business in one of the priority sectors for the creation of new enterprises according to NSESMEs 2014-2020, namely the production of communication equipment. The university education and the long-term professional experience of the entrepreneur in the telecommunication industry, combined with the envisaged purchase of modern equipment and the recruitment of highly qualified staff will ensure the successful launch and development of the planned business, providing a strong guarantee for the growth of sales and profitability of the operation, thus ensuring the sustainability of the entrepreneurial venture in the long run. Apart from the above-mentioned basic economic result, the project activities will also have an accompanying environmental and social effects stemming from the specifics of the planned production of communication equipment and the envisaged sustainable employment of a part of the hired personnel and by ensuring the employment of a person with permanent disabilities.
