Production of saturated solution of sodium hydroxide

The goal of the entrepreneurial idea is to create a small enterprise for the production of a saturated solution of sodium hydroxide for technical purposes, which falls into the priority sector of the National Strategy for Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises 2014-2020. The implementation of project activities and the product market realization would create market advantages and would increase the competitiveness of both the company-entrepreneur and the customers - coal-combustion power plants emitting fly ash as well as companies consuming inorganic bases that would benefit from the idea of delivering small quantities of sodium hydroxide saturated solution in technical containers. The realization of the entrepreneurial idea will have a positive impact on the society through the creation of sustainable employment and will lead to an ecological effect by reducing the amount of deposited fly ash, which has harmful impact on the environment by recycling part of it and the possibility of use of the product for the treatment of wastewater in different industries. The complex of activities for market realization of the entrepreneurial idea include hiring of qualified personnel, delivery and commissioning of modern equipment and preparation of market strategy for realization of the product on the national and world markets. The project falls within the technological areas of ISIS "Mechatronics and Clean Technologies" and belongs to the priority areas of the field "clean technologies” with emphasis on transport and energy (waste technologies, technologies and methods for incorporation of waste products and materials from a production into other productions).
