Improving entrepreneurship in the field of specialized outpatient care

The present project proposal includes a set of measures that will allow the implementation of the entrepreneurial idea of the Applicant - ‘Medical Center DEA MEDICALS’ OOD - for the establishment of a Diagnostic, Treatment and Prevention Center for Cardiovascular Diseases. The project shall be implemented in the town of Kyustendil for a period of 12 months. The activities, specified in the project shall include as follows: Making investments in specialized medical equipment and software and providing salaries for the specialists, employed at the Center. The entrepreneurial idea includes an entirely new philosophy of servicing patients with cardiovascular diseases, including an individual approach, tailored to the needs of each visitor and the established degree of disease. The treatment algorithm will include diagnostic tests and treatment, preventive health care for serious illnesses and preventing relapse in patients with cardio-vascular diseases, as well as postoperative cardiological physiotherapy. The center will serve the population of Kyustendil, as well as the nearby settlements and will work closely with the medical institutions in the region. The project shall provide 3 new sustainable jobs, including a job for a person with permanent disabilities. The activities, specified in the project are fully compliant with the Theme ‘Industry of Healthy Living and Bio-Technology’, set out in the Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization (ISIS), Priority area of "Personal medicine, diagnostics and individual therapy, medicinal and pharmaceutical forms and materials".
