EdiMax

Edimax is a new, independent print services company, specializing in graphic design, pre-press, printing and finishing of books with soft and hard covers, photo albums and notebooks for corporate and private clients. This includes individual and non-standard printing solutions, such as drop-on-demand. The company relies on its professionalism in creating an automated high-capacity process as part of its economic activity code - 18.12 „Printing other editions and printed products“. Edimax will develop its idea in certain sectors while facing the European and regional challenges falling within the priority area „Mechatronics and Clean Technologies“ in the NW region Lovech. The expected success is related to the mechatronic technology evolution (processing with flat binding machines and computers) and the professional team behind the idea (designer, bookbinder and expert in technical and information security). A ‘Market Implementation Action’ is foreseen, which includes: - Building a team of experts; - Acquisition of mechatronic technologies; - Financial assessment and market analysis. Results: 1. An innovative, sustainable enterprise; 2. Sustainable employment - 3 persons; 3. Good indicators (up to 3 years after the end of the project), net earnings over BGN 100.000 and a weighted EBITDA of over 15%. 4. Social effect - Support for disadvantaged people on the labor market (aged over 50 or handicapped); - High value added to society - quality sustainable employment, and providing a basis for practicing, in line with "Publishing activity on the move" 2012/C 191/04; - An economically advantageous product offer (quality/price). 5. Ecological effect - The whole production is free of waste and harmful emissions; - The machines are certified with environmental protection "CE" marks; - The inks are natural and bio-degradable; - Contribution to the fight against global warming and air purification - the EESC (2015/C 230/06).
