Promote an entrepreneurial initiative to produce artificial hip joints and orthopedic instruments

The implementation of project activities would create a new plant for production of artificial hip joints and orthopedic instruments for their implantation, which falls into a priority castor related to overcoming European and regional challenges: C 32.50 „ Production of medical and dental instruments and devices". The entrepreneur’s and the project team members’ high qualification and rich experience will provide prerequisites for the development of an enterprise that is of great public importance and oriented to a high added value sector. The implementation of a socially oriented entrepreneurial endeavor to produce a product with broad market and economic applicability in the field of medicine and healthcare will provide the company with a lasting presence on the market. The purchase of the equipment needed for the project will provide a material base for production of artificial hip joints and orthopedic instruments, which will be distinguished by its qualitative characteristics and the company will have the opportunity to come out on the market with a product that brings high benefits to patients and society. In this way the entrepreneurial idea to be developed and implemented falls within the priority direction of the thematic area of the Innovation Strategy for Intelligence Specialization. The activities envisaged under the project would create prerequisites for the development of an entrepreneurial idea of high public and social importance and the creation of sustainable jobs that will bring market advantages for the company; will contribute to a stable presence on the international and national markets and will increase as a whole the competitiveness of the economy.
