Development of architectural and engineering activities in the design of energy-efficient buildings

This project proposal will support the realization of an entrepreneurial idea for design and planning of passive single-family and multi-family houses. The passive house is a building standard that is both environmentally friendly and energy efficient, comfortable and economical. Passive houses satisfy the majority of their thermal energy needs from passive sources (solar energy, heat from residents and appliances). The end result must be a positive perception of the premises and the climate in them accompanied by low energy consumption. The entrepreneur and his team will offer ready (modular) and individual design solutions for such houses of individuals and construction contractors who build individual buildings or entire complexes of such houses. The activity will be realized in the town of Rudozem, Rudozem municipality, Smolyan district. Planned investments include long-term - equipment for printing, scanning and reproduction of projects, laptops to install specialized software (also purchased with project proposal funds) for drafting, calculation of heat coefficients, heat losses, and other building data. The project also includes costs for payroll and social security payments for the staff employed, costs for developing the company's website, costs for external services (payment for designers missing from the contractor's team), office rental costs and visualization. The total value of the investment is BGN 187 820.00 excluding VAT. A successful business model in the field of passive house design will be built as a result of the implementation of the project and this will ensure sustainable employment for the developer and three others, one of which - with permanent disabilities. There will also be benefits that are not material and/or financial, such as increased comfort, reduction of electricity and heat consumption costs for consumers, increasing the share of renewable energy in the economy and reducing the impact on the environment.
