Improving the growth capacity of ET SATELIT TM - ANTON SIMEONOV by introducing high-tech equipment to add new features and improve the quality of existing services

The current activity of SATELIT TM (more than 15 years) is connected with the delivery of Internet and TV to end customers through the traditional type of networks - a hybrid network with optical and coaxial cables for TV and copper cables (twisted pair) to the end user for the Internet. This type of network is already exhausting its potential, in terms of the ever-growing consumer needs of higher speed and reliability of communication. The project proposal will ensure the expansion of the capacity of Satellite-TM by investing in high-tech equipment, which will improve the quality and reliability of the offered services and at the same time will ensure the diversification of the activity by offering new services, thus meeting the growing needs of the population in the region to provide high-speed and reliable Internet and digital TV, incl. and to the smallest settlements. The focus of the proposal is on the resource efficiency of the company, as will be provided through the construction of a low-power next-generation PON (Passive Optic Network) infrastructure. The planned new digital TV / CATV / DTV equipment will provide the opportunity to expand the capacity of the service offered and, on the other hand, to improve and diversify the service in the context of providing digital television access. This will be possible because the company has invested in the last few years in building its own optical connectivity with the neighboring district towns and settlements (in the area of the company's activity) because without optical connectivity there is no way to offer digital TV and high- broadband internet access. By investing in the relevant equipment included in the offer, the company will now be able to offer these services to consumers through the next-generation network. The total cost of the project is 376 200 BGN.
