Increasing the Production Capacity of Zaharo Ltd.

Zaharo developing its activities in the area of processing industry and the production of fresh pastry products. The company specializes in the production of a wide range of confectionery products - cakes, pastries, pies, small sweets, but there are still limits to its development in a highly dynamic economy and a competitive environment. The implementation of the envisaged project activities and the introduction of the machines purchased under the project aims at increasing the capacity for the production of confectionery products, increasing the productivity and export potential of the company, which fully corresponds to the goals of the Local initiative group Pomorie formulated in the Community Strategy for Local Development. Zaharo will modernize and optimize the production activity with the current project by introducing new, modern high-tech and energy-efficient machinery. Implementation in the production of modern confectionery equipment will lead to a reduction in the cost of final production, an improvement in production processes and a shortening of confectionery production times, will improve resource efficiency and efficiency in the production process. Project implementation will reduce the production losses, the energy costs per unit of product and the amount of raw materials used in production. The project will contribute to protecting the environment and improving the quality of the surrounding environment on the territory of Pomorie Municipality, by implementing in the production of investments that contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation and to the implementation of the sustainable development principles in company’s production process. The implementation of the project activities will provide technological conditions for increasing the competitiveness of the company and will expand its access to the regional and foreign markets which will lead to sustainable competitiveness of the company and expansion of its export capacity.
