Investment in higher productivity and new export possibilities for Tandem 13 EOOD

The main activity of Tandem 13 EOOD is the production of overcoats. Ever since it was created in 2013, the company has been aiming to establish itself as a dynamically developing enterprise which renews its production facilities on a regular basis and invests in new developments in order to meet its customers’ demand as much as possible. This project proposal is a step in the same direction. The project’s overall aim is to increase the competitiveness of Tandem 13 EOOD and create conditions to enhance the company’s export potential. In particular, the company aims to achieve: higher resource effectiveness and efficiency in the production process through investment in specialised fixed non-tangible and tangible assets which will allow maximum utilization of the fabrics used in the production; improving the “sewing” and “ironing” production processes by implementing the latest sewing and ironing equipment to contribute to improving the quality of the products produced and to ensure continuous production; expanding production by introducing new features to the sports clothes produced, namely fabric gluing rather than sewing to achieve higher durability. The above objectives will be achieved by purchasing specialized sewing equipment, a steam generator, machines for band placement, modular CAD system, a plotter with innovative functions, as well as 3D CAD software for 3-D model simulation. As a result of the project implementation, Tandem 13 EOOD will improve its production processes, which is a prerequisite for attracting new customers and reaching new markets, including outside Bulgaria. As a result of the project’s implementation, the company is expected to commence export operations, increase productivity by 327,40%, and increase production cost efficiency by 11,11%.
