Increasing the competitiveness of "WBE Containers" Ltd.

"WBE Containers" Ltd. is a company established in 2016, specialized in the production of residential, office, domestic, public, social and other specialized containers. The production process covers a complete cycle of design, manufacturing of metal structures and elements, insulation, windows, internal installations and equipment, distribution and assembly of the finished product. The production is mainly realized on the foreign market, but the trends are for expanding the production and increasing the quality and the market positions. The aim of the project proposal is to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise, modernization and optimization of the production by purchasing and introducing of new high technology equipment - 1 pressure machine with digital control. The machine will enable the pressing and bending of 3 to 7 meter long metal used for container constructions. For this activity, the company has only used outsourced services and generates high expenses and technological waste products. The equipment will contribute to increasing production capacity and larger orders and will optimize production costs as a result of discontinuing subcontracting, outsourcing and minimal manual labor. The workmanship so far is to bend metals up to 3 meters, because in the region of Northeastern Bulgaria there is no press with bigger capacity. This, on the one hand is reason for the scrapping of large quantities of metal scrap and, on the other, to additional welds in the structures, which reduces their quality and strength. The press machine will contribute to increasing resource efficiency, the quality of production, creating new jobs and increasing the financial results of the enterprise.
