"SIDI-92" Ltd. is a small enterprise specializing in the production of high quality pasta, which is marketed all over the country under the brand "Krastev". The activity is carried out in own production facility in the town of Pleven. "SIDI-92" Ltd. regularly participates in national and international exhibitions for the food industry and makes regular investments for modernization of the business facilities and technological equipment. The current project is initiated by the applicant to overcome "technological and production problems" in key manufacturing processes in order to increase the competitive advantages, the production capacity of the business site, expanding the positions on the national market, and achieving a technological opportunity to enter the external markets. The project envisages investment in new, high-tech equipment under the state aid regime "regional investment aid", thanks to which will be carried out activity for improvement of the production capacity of the company. The equipment is part of the applicant's investment program and the possibility of grant financing is decisive for the start of the project. The project proposal falls under the thematic area "Mechatronics and Clean Technologies" of Innovative Strategy for Smart Specialization. When implementing the project, horizontal policies for equality and non-discrimination will be respected and environmental sustainability will be achieved.
