Improving production capacity in Newton Danube LTD

NEWTON DANUBE LTD produces exclusively for export on the basis of long-term partnerships with leading manufacturers from Austria and Germany of facilities for management and distribution of electricity in the public transport infrastructure, tunnels and highways. The main product group consists of boards for extension boxes, busbars for conductors and light force limiters - components that are used to build signaling, lighting and emergency systems in tunnels and highways. The company is incapable to handle the increasing volume of orders due to insufficient and partially obsolete capacity in sheet metal cutting, bending and drilling operations. In support of the main economic activity under NACE-2008 27.12 "Manufacture of electricity distribution and control apparatus", in particular components for them, the following activities will be implemented under the project - Activity for improvement of the production capacity by investing in an Automatic laser portal cutting machine for metal sheets - 1pc.; - Activity for improvement of the production capacity by investing in Hydraulic bending press - 1pc.; - Activity for improvement of the production capacity by investing in Vertical processing center – 1pc.; Through the investment in the project, NEWTON DANUBE LTD will increase its competitiveness in the European markets, expand its production capacity, optimize and modernize the production process in its key operations in order to increase production and export.
